Vanda Morgan, Director of MKA

Vanda took her first steps on the road to a successful career
in theatre and dance at the tender age of three. Training with Miss Ruth French in
London and at the Bush Davies Schools. The Vanda Stage School opened in 1974, and
has recently been renamed The Morgan Academy of Performing Arts. Vanda is well known
for her enthusiasm, and is totally dedicated to the care and progress of her pupils
and students. Vanda is also a highly sought after Director and Choreographer, with such
credits as “The Mikado” at the Ashcroft Theatre, Croydon and London City Opera`s USA
Tour of “Die Fledermaus” to her name. She has also choreographed charity shows at Her
Majestys Theatre and Sadlers Wells and has produced and choreographed extensively in
the London Region and locally. The School regularly presents Showcases at the local
theatres, together with full scale musical theatre productions such as; "Bugsy Malone",
"Annie" and "Wizard of Oz". Vanda`s busy schedule includes daily classes at the studio
teaching, Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Drama and at St Hilda`s School, the Alleyn Court
Schools, where the pupils study Ballet. The school is renowned for producing
"talented, confident and well disciplined" students for their chosen professions.
